In one week I will be back in Chicago. And I’ll get to see this nerd’s face. Which I miss. But augh there are so many things I want to do that I won’t have time for. I won’t get in until almost noon on Saturday and I have to leave Sunday around dinner. And most of that time will be in the Land Without Wifi!

But still. That nerd’s face. And my cousins. I love my cousins. And my brother’s bald head.

I’m remembering that time my aunt told me “gather ye rosebuds while ye may” and I’m still both astonished and amused. My aunt is a retired English teacher, now an English tutor, and either she has no idea what that poem really means, or she really wants me to get laid.

I sort of miss St. Louis lately? Which is odd, because I can’t remember the last time I missed a place that wasn’t one of my homes (I have three-ish). I think I’d maybe like to visit again sometime soon. After Michigan this weekend, I really have nothing else to look forward to and nowhere to go til Christmas, which will be spent in one of my homes: The Land Without Wifi.

When people tell me “I can’t believe how much Modern Family gets away with!” I have to wonder if they watch Community, Parks & Rec, and especially Raising Hope. Modern Family doesn’t get away with much at all.

When I went through the Starbucks drive-thru this morning, the barista complimented me on my nails and made me hold them out so she could see them better. Then she called over her coworkers to admire my nails as a line formed behind me.

At work today, a mentally challenged girl admired each of my nails individually, then had to feel them all to see if they were smooth (they are).

Another client asked me if I had done them for a wild party. I hadn’t.

They’re just polka dots.

I love rewatching it with Jess who is seeing them for the first time. Today we watched 1x04-1x06
I fucking love Harriet Jones. No one understands my deep love for Harriet Jones, MP, Flydale North.
And Rose. ROOOOOSSSSEEEEE. With the Dalek. And just augh. Feelings.

I feel this is a good deed.

I did it out of order (Advanced Dungeons & Dragons; Modern Warfare; Epidemiology), which I would normally feel bad about, but this show you don’t really need to watch completely in order and also Gina introduced me to Community by showing Spanish 101 three times in a row while I was staying with her & Toni. So. Y’know.
