Downton Abbey finally got the Sesame Street treatment and, thus, we give you “Upside Downton Abbey!” We’d enjoy this more if we could figure out how the puppeteers managed to do this entirely upside down, but that’s just movie magic, we guess.

Earlier this evening I received a text from my mom saying “I love Downton Abbey!” Yes, mother, I know. The internet knows. Everyone knows.
An hour later my phone rings and I answer it “you just watched the end of the episode, didn’t you?” She did. She is crushed. She is angry. She is very confused about what will happen next.
And then she went off on a tangent about how much she wants Mr. Carson and Mrs. Hughes to be together. And how much she loves Mrs. Hughes. And Mrs. Patmore. And how she doesn’t care for Jimmy. She loves Sybie, but thinks she needs a better nanny, because she never seems to be around. She thinks Rose is there to replace Sybil as the rebel. She thinks Mrs. Crawley should have married the doctor. And we miss William. I think that’s everything. On to the quotes!
Mom: I need to pass this episode on to Helen tomorrow.
Jez: She may not like it.
Mom: She deserves to be crushed like the rest of us.
Mom: Next time send me a happier episode.
Jez: I really have no control over that.
Mom: Make it happy.
Jez: Night, mom.
Mom: Goodnight! Dream of Downton!
